Martha Carter

My name is Martha Carter and I have one wonderful son and father to my beautiful and smart 14-year-old granddaughter. I have been a member of Agape Faith Church since 2011. My background education includes three associate degrees: Restaurant Hotel Management, dietetics, Medical Office Administration, and a certificate in Medical Coding. I have worked as an office administrator for two mental health counseling services, The Neil Group and Resilience Counseling Service which was my late husband’s practice. Billing, accounting, scheduling, and client care were my main focus. Currently, I serve on the board of Family Life Counseling as secretary and also a member of the lay counselors. This past April, I became a substitute teacher here in Winston-Salem Forsyth County. I spend my time reading, sewing, gardening, swimming, walking, and traveling with family and friends. Ministering to women is a guilty pleasure of mine in watching them make positive life altering changes; so, this is an area I aspire to live out. Lastly, I intend to always listen and adhere to what God instructs me to be and to do.
