My name is Chris Wittlinger. I am currently the Director of Grace Counseling Ministry, a ministry of Grace Bible Church here in Winston-Salem, NC. I started my counseling career at the Winston SalemRescue Mission, where I received my alcohol and drug counseling certification. After serving in their 90-day program, I became the manager of the Rescue Mission’s year-long recovery program in Yadkinville, NC. After leaving there in 2019, I worked for the NC Department of Public Safety in their Alcohol and Chemical Dependency program. We provided group and individual counseling to individuals with substance use disorders in NC prisons. In March of 2022, Grace Bible Church decided to fully fund a full-time counseling ministry and appointed me as the director. I also have been serving on the board of Grace Bible Church for the past 4 years. My undergraduate degree is in Biblical studies and my graduate work is in addiction counseling. I am married to my beautiful wife and we have 3 beautiful children together. When I’m not working, I love spending time with my family. My other hobbies include reading, golf, and the Buffalo Bills!
